“This is an exciting time to age,” says Charles M. Boyd, M.D., a double board-certified plastic surgeon who’s been in practice for 18 years. “There are far more options for surgical and nonsurgical procedures that have very little downtime.”

It’s also an exciting time to open a new location in Detroit. This new BOYD Detroit Aesthetic Center will offer a wide range of cosmetic services that will also include walk-in and express treatments specifically designed for hotel guests, visitors and busy downtown employees. “This office will be a unique partnership with Allergan to create the nation’s first CoolSculpting training center called a “CoolHub,” says Dr. Boyd, whose Griswold Street location is also a SkinCeuticals flagship store.

Dr. Boyd’s surgical skills are also benefiting patients in Kenya, where he travels at least once a year on medical missions to treat children with cleft lips and palates. Whether he’s close to home or half a world away, Dr. Boyd makes a difference in people’s lives.
