POLKA RESTAURANT & BEER CAFÉ

2908 E. MAPLE RD., TROY MI 48083 | 248-817-2601 | WWW.GOPOLKA.COM

Whether it’s the food, architecture, or atmosphere, every part of the experience at Polka Restaurant was purposefully designed to make guests feel as though they’re visiting Poland. Regular trips to Poland inspired owner Marek Kolynicz’s vision of Polka’s execution of its authentic yet contemporary cuisine, leading to the restaurant’s being honored as having the “Best Polish Food” by the Detroit Free Press. While the recipes are originals, Kolynicz likes to say the food is “a new concept — traditional Polish, with a little twist of modern Poland.”

You can still expect stuffed cabbages, pierogi, sausages, and sauerkraut at the family-friendly Polka, where seasonal and locally sourced ingredients are used whenever possible. From its modern take on Polish cuisine to the vast selection of domestic and imported beers and hand-painted, floor-to-ceiling murals, Kolynicz’s fusion of traditional décor and atmosphere with modern flavors renders a memorable dining experience.
