// MISSION

To increase the number of at-risk youth who participate in the sports of baseball and softball.

// KEY SERVICES PROVIDED

At Bat is promoting health, which consists of physical exercise and nutrition, while implementing all clinics and programs. The youth that the organization serves receives nutrition education, participates in an organized sport that gives 30 minutes or more of physical exercise, and actively works with mentors to help boost self-esteem. Some of the programs that we offer are:

Baseball or Softball Clinic: The youth will learn the fundamentals of baseball or softball, including pitching, catching, and hitting. This clinic is a one-day event.

Youth Development Program: Youth will be given the opportunity to participate in STEM educational baseball or softball drills that involve analyzing their swing or pitch, gaining an in-depth understanding of healthy eating, and drawing conclusions on improving player’s performance for six weeks.

Let’s Play Ball Program: Baseball or softball summer league that will practice once or twice a week and play games against each other.
