Brain Injury Association of Michigan

Give Detroit - A Charitable Registry

The Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s (BIAMI) mission is to improve the lives of those affected by brain injury, and reduce the incidence and impact of brain injury through education, advocacy, support, treatment services, and research.

BIAMI serves as a conduit between brain injury survivors and the nation’s largest state network of brain injury resources and professionals. They administer 20 chapters and support groups statewide; provide continuing education, events, and CBIS certification to professional members; develop and administer survivor-focused and awareness programs; advocate in Lansing with their provider partners on behalf of brain injury prevention and survivor care legislation; and host the nation’s largest conference on brain injury, in addition to other events. They also staff a 24/7 family helpline, providing brain injury information and assistance.
