Make Your Date Detroit

Give Detroit - A Charitable Registry

Make Your DateTM Detroit is a nonprofit organization whose aim is to reduce the rate of premature births by implementing evidence-based strategies through the execution of education, collaboration, and partnerships.

Participants in the program are offered the Make Your DateTM Healthy Baby Plan, a comprehensive plan created to keep moms-to-be on track to achieve healthy pregnancies and healthy babies from the time they conceive until the baby’s first birthday. In three short years, Make Your DateTM has served more than 5,600 pregnant women. Preliminary data has shown a reduction in the rate of premature births within the program, as a result of connecting expectant mothers with prenatal care, free pregnancy education classes, and group prenatal care, as well as support and resources including transportation assistance. Make Your DateTM is dedicated to following its participants throughout their entire pregnancy with constant contact, to ensure they’re receiving the health care and knowledge they need to have healthy, full-term babies.
