National Council of Jewish Women

Give Detroit - A Charitable Registry

The National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Detroit Section is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who strive for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families, and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.

NCJW/Greater Detroit is part of a national organization that has a network for over 90,000 members and supporters. Locally, for more than 125 years, NCJW/Greater Detroit volunteers have developed and implemented community service projects, and have maintained a progressive stance on issues at the local, state, and federal levels. The organization has also offered public affairs, education, and social programs for the community at large. Volunteers find a need in the community and develop services to address the issue, or advocate on behalf of the women, children, and families in need. NCJW/Greater Detroit works cooperatively with many other organizations in order to address the needs of the greater metropolitan Detroit community. NCJW/Greater Detroit members are empowered to make a difference in the community.
