// MISSION

Our Capuchin ministries are inspired by St. Francis of Assisi. We prayerfully build sister-brotherhood. We attend to spiritual and other basic human needs, especially those of the poor.

// KEY SERVICES PROVIDED

Our Detroit Capuchin Ministries:

Capuchin Soup Kitchen – We tend to people’s basic needs, especially the need for food.

Father Solanus Guild – We promote the Cause toward Canonization by spreading Father Solanus’ holiness/spirituality.

Solanus Casey Center – A sacred space to nourish your soul, devoted to soon-to-be Blessed Fr. Solanus Casey.

Capuchin Retreat – A Franciscan spirituality & retreat center which will renew your peace of mind.

St. Bonaventure Monastery Chapel – Founded in 1883, our lit steeple provides a pathway to those seeking peace.

Formation of New Friars – We currently have more than 20 men at various levels of formation.
