Kaitlin Fazio

Growing up in Michigan not only taught Kaitlin Fazio how to be prepared for three different types of weather in a single day, but also how to appreciate the beauty of Michigan’s natural attractions and parks. This month, the Wayne State University journalism student wrote about the elaborate designs and features of Dow Gardens in Midland. Fazio is ecstatic and grateful to be gaining real-world experience during her internship at Hour. On a grander scheme, she hopes to use her writing and photography to shine a positive light on Detroit since she has always appreciated the city’s resilience and rich cultural scene.

Nichole Grieser

Born and raised in Macomb, Nichole Grieser has always found creative inspiration while traveling, whether on a weekend trip to northern Michigan or a two-week trip to Europe. It was while in Rome after a day spent in the Vatican that Grieser decided to pursue graphic design. Her creativity was, in part, also fueled by her two grandmothers: one who painted landscapes and the other who sketched portraits of her family. The former Hour Media intern has now joined the staff as an art assistant, where she can translate her experiences into editorial designs. Her work can be seen in Hour Detroit, Metro Detroit Weddings, Detroit Home, and various other publications.

Hayden Stinebaugh

Hayden Stinebaugh is a full-time freelance photographer in metro Detroit. “It’s something that is a true passion of mine,” he says, “Very few people make it in this small creative field, but I’m excited to make my mark on Detroit.” Working on the “Mile by Mile” was “a lot of fun,” he says. “I got to see a lot of places that I didn’t even know existed.” Stinebaugh has worked with brands like Ford, Cadillac, and The Detroit Lions, to name a few. When he isn’t out shooting professionally, you can find him taking pictures for fun, hanging at a local coffee shop, or traveling, always with a camera in hand.

Luke Resetar

Luke Resetar has lived in the Detroit area for most of his life and within the city for the last four years. This month marks his first contribution to Hour Detroit. He loves to experiment with a spectrum of different styles of writing and is inspired to write by the music and culture of the city. As a journalism student at Wayne State, Resetar is eager to learn the ins and outs of the business. This month he got pumped for some riveting, eye-opening, and locally based documentaries while covering the Freep Film Festival
