SYLVAN LAKE ENDS ‘PROHIBITION’
It took 90-plus years, but voters in the City of Sylvan Lake gave the nod to allow restaurants to apply for licenses to sell liquor by the glass. Beer and wine sales were previously allowed. Mike Larco’s Ala Carte received approval for the first license.
