The Inaugural Cider Dayze Festival

Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill hosts the inaugural Cider Dayze Festival on August 29 – 30.

The festival will combine beverages from Michigan cideries, wineries, and breweries. The list of confirmed participants is included below. Please check the Cider Dayze website for the current updated list.

Live bands will provide entertainment while festivalgoers participate in activities including cornhole, barrel races, and apple bobbing.

A series of lectures and classes will provide insight into the world of apple orchards and cider making. The Brew Camp schedule can be found HERE.

Local vendors will serve food, including some of metro Detroit’s more well-known establishments, including Bad Brad’s BBQ and The Mulefoot Gastropub.

Tickets are $35 for a one-day pass or $55 for a two-day pass. Each ticket includes nine 5-ounce samples and a commemorative glass. Food is not included in the ticket price. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.

The Detroit Bus Company is offering transportation to and from the event for $5 (each way) with pick up at Woodward Avenue Brewers in Ferndale. Check the Cider Dayze website for the pick up schedule.

All proceeds will be donated to local charities.
