People for Palmer Park (PFPP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Detroit’s Palmer Park, is raising funds to renovate and re-open the 127-year old historic Palmer Park Log Cabin. Since it was closed 30 years ago, this significant architectural structure — the only log cabin in the City of Detroit — has deteriorated greatly. Both a symbol for the transformation of the Park, as well as the potential site for a vital community, educational, nature and cultural center, PFPP, in partnership with the City of Detroit, has been taking urgent steps to save the cabin. You can help!
Visit peopleforpalmerpark.org for tickets or send a check to People for Palmer Park and write “log cabin” in the memo section and mail to: PO Box 02545, Detroit, MI 48202-2545.
A portion of your donation to this event is tax deductible. People for Palmer Park is a 501 (C)(3) organization.
|Cost||$50 per person|
