WHAT’S UP, TOP DOCS?

What makes Hour Detroit experts in health when publishing “the best” doctors in Detroit?... Please check credentials for the Top Docs. I’ve been told that [a doctor] is not board certified or board eligible for the specialty they’re listed under. 

 

(Editor’s Note: The above represents excerpts of letters received about our Top Docs list [October 2014].It bears repeating that the doctors are not selected by members of the Hour Detroit staff. They are nominated exclusively through online surveys submitted by physicians [M.D.s and D.O.s] in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties. Hour Detroit tabulates the votes, fact-checks names and affiliations of winners, and checks if a physician’s license is valid, but does not check board certifications.)
