On Sept. 19, Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters held its British Invasion Summer Cruise along the Detroit River. Passengers boarded the yacht at Port Detroit Dock in Detroit and enjoyed a cruise inspired by the British boy bands of the sixties. The Beatles' cover band, Magical Mystery Groove performed a variety of the Fab Four's biggest songs. A portion of the proceeds benefited Noble Odyssey Foundation in its Great Lakes research efforts.
On Sept. 15, the Arab American and Chaldean Council held its Civic and Humanitarian Awards Gala at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit. Guests of the black-tie optional event enjoyed dinner and a program which honored individuals who are visionaries in their areas of work. Proceeds from the 39th annual gala benefited the ACC's educational and refugee initiatives.
Here's where to spend the first official weekend of fall
On Sept. 14, the Junior League of Detroit's Designers' Show House held its "A Moment in Time" Gala at the Charles T. Fisher Mansion in Detroit. Guests were treated to an estate tour, a live art installation by Artist Felle and Design Core Detroit, a strolling dinner, and more. Proceeds from the celebration benefited various community programs, including Project EAT and other social service organizations.
On Aug. 30, Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters held its Night in Havana Summer Cruise along the Detroit River. Guests boarded the yacht at Port Detroit Dock, enjoyed cuisine inspired by Old Havana, and danced to music by Detroit musicians Grupo Escobar. The sold-out cruise was a part of the yacht charter's Summer Cruise Series.
On July 25, Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters held its Continents Uncorked Summer Cruise along the Detroit River, boarding at Port Detroit Dock. Passengers enjoyed a strolling wine dinner that included an expansive wine selection from vineyards across the country and cuisine from North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Musical group Intrigue performed at the sold out cruise. A portion of the proceeds benefited local charity, Global Ties Detroit.

Passengers boarded the sold-out cruise at the Port Detroit Dock, enjoyed a Michigan-themed dinner, Detroit-inspired cocktails, and live entertainment from Motown band, Persuasion. The Motown Summer Cruise was a part of the Infinity-Ovation Yacht Charter's Summer Cruise Series.
On Sept. 14, Southwest Solutions held its inaugural Celebration of Impact gala at MGM Grand Detroit Hotel in Detroit. Guests enjoyed a lively evening featuring a VIP Honoree Reception, a three-course dinner, awards program, and an after party. The event celebrated Southwest Solutions' 47 years of social impact and service to Detroit.

Proceeds benefited the foundation and its mission to support research and educational programs focusing on the cause and management of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Guests boarded the yacht at Port Detroit Dock in Detroit and enjoyed Cajun-Creole cuisine, handcrafted spirits, and live entertainment from The Roubillards. The sold-out cruise was a part the yacht charter's Summer Cruise Series, partnering with various local charities. A portion of the proceeds from The New Orleans Summer Cruise benefited Make Your Date Detroit, a nonprofit focused on reducing the rate of premature birth.
On Aug. 29, Racing 4 Kids held its annual Racing for Kids to the Hill event on Kercheval Ave. in Grosse Pointe Farms. For its 12th year, the festivities began with a street fair which included a scavenger hunt, games for kids, refreshments, and more. Evening events included a fundraiser and VIP cocktail reception and luxury auction. Proceeds benefited various children's healthcare programs in hospitals throughout Michigan as well as Racing for Kids.

On Aug. 15, Epitec held its Friends' Night Out fundraiser for Vista Maria at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak. Guests enjoyed food, signature cocktails, musical entertainment, and more. Attendees were encouraged to bring a new doll, stuffed animal, or action figure to donate to Vista Maria's foster kids. Toys and proceeds from the event benefited Vista Maria in its efforts to support the agency's foster care programs.
On Aug. 16, the Detroit Institute of Arts auxiliary Founders Junior Council and Neiman Marcus held its annual Fash Bash fundraising event at the DIA in Detroit. Attendees had a first look at the season's hottest fashions, enjoyed a cocktail reception, and continued festivities at the Lincoln Motor Company Afterglow.
