Savor Detroit Food & Wine Festival 2018

On Aug. 10, Hour Detroit held its Savor Food & Wine Festival at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak. Guests enjoyed various wine and craft cocktail tastings, as well as food from various Michigan vendors while viewing the zoo's award-winning habitats. The 2-day culinary extravaganza showcased the best wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and food purveyors. A portion of the proceeds benefited the Detroit Zoological Society in its mission to support and save wildlife.

Savor Detroit Food & Wine Week 2018: Celebrity Cruises' Grand Red Affair

On Aug. 9, Hour Detroit hosted its Celebrity Cruises' Grand Red Affair at the Polk Penguin Conservation Center and the Wildlife Interpretive Gallery at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak. Guests of the high-end tasting event enjoyed gourmet chocolate, cheese, coffee pairings, and live entertainment. As part of Hour Detroit's Savor Food & Wine Week, the event showcased the best wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants and food purveyors.

On May 9th, Hour Media held its Top Dentists party at Eddie Merlot's in West Bloomfield. The private event celebrated this year’s honorees, who are selected after polling area dentists, orthodontists, periodontists and other specialists.

From April 23-27, Hour Detroit held its biannual event Savor Detroit. The five-night series featured custom menus developed by the city's most celebrated chefs for one-of-a-kind four-course meals complete with thoughtfully selected wine pairings. Guests also enjoyed unique art installations for the ultimate culinary experience. Friday's meal was prepared by Chef Matt McGrail of Cork and Gabel and Chef Edward Sura of Uchiko. A portion of the proceeds benefited dozens of local charities participating in the Give Detroit Challenge.
