One of the best of metro Detroit restaurants dedicated to Asian food, it offers some rare delicacies - shark's fin and bird's nest soups, fresh abalone - as well as more prosaic stuff. One signature is stir-fried yellow grouper fillet with vegetables - Chinese broccoli, mostly - that's slightly sweet from the perfectly finished fish itself, and spicy with XO sauce, a Hong Kong favorite. There are more than 120 items on this menu, including mahogany glazed barbecued spareribs that slow-roast beside Peking duck; mildly spicy stir-fried beef tenderloin with chunks of red and green bell pepper and litchi nuts; and fork-tender octopus, scallops and prawns with macadamia nuts.
