A lovely white-linen restaurant, with a style and flair of its own in a soaring glass front hall at the top of the MotorCity Casino Hotel — the casino is next door — with views at night in the direction of the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit River. Chef Derik Watson’s menu, heavily flavored with French and Asian cooking styles he learned under Tribute’s ex-chef Takashi Yagihashi (now in Chicago) varies with the seasons. Check out the glass-fronted mechanical wine vault and the huge Dale Chihuly-like glass panels flanking the open kitchen. A place for a special evening. There’s a solid wine list and ample indoor parking. D Tue.-Sun.
