The “new” Lelli’s opened in 1996 after many years in its original Detroit location. In fact, the menu covers still read “Since 1939,” and the menu continues the time-tested theme: Full-course dinners begin with an antipasto tray, creamy minestrone, green salad, side dish of spaghetti, and then, nine times out of 10, a filet mignon with zip sauce. L & D daily.
