Though it's modeled after an English country inn, the atmosphere of this Southfield seafood staple is decidedly Bavarian. The dimly lit main dining room - with its exposed, dark-stained glass - suggests beer and bratwurst, but the menu is class Chuck Muer. Martha's Vineyard Salad (a Muer staple) and a daily fresh fish selection complement rotating seasonal specialties and a handful of Charley's Crab originals, ,like the pan-seared scallops with smoked bacon and mushroom vol-au-vent. "Teacup bread" - individual bread servings baked in white ramekins with cinnamon/honey butter - is served alongside dinner and is as soft as cotton candy. L & D daily
