Comfortable and lodge-like with its fieldstone fireplace, wild-animal trophies and woodsy artworks in what originated as Northville Charley's, a Chuck Muer restaurant, it's the domain of longtime Muer corporate chef, Chuck (Rocky) Rachwitz. A nicely updated menu includes a hit: a bento box that encompasses an entire meal, from Cape scallops and Florida rock shrimp to chocolate chip cookies, in a changing array at lunch each day. At dinner, look for broiled rainbow trout, ahi tuna with shrimp in an Asian barbecue sauce and braised short ribs of beef with cognac/peppercorn sauce, served by a friendly and competent young staff. L & D daily.
