The vintage air of Sposita’s fits its menu of Italian favorites such as eggplant Parmesan, veal marsala, lasagna, and a local classic, filet mignon with zip sauce. The dining room is decorated with photographs of scenes in Italy, taken by Joe Sposita Jr., one of the family members behind this solid spot in which familiar dishes are given proper due. Dinner begins with that endangered species, the classic relish tray. A side of pasta, of course, is served with each entree. Pastas, ranging from spaghetti and linguine to tortellini and gnocchi, are fresh, with some made in-house. D daily, L Fri. only.
