The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan will celebrate its 50th or golden anniversary at the organization’s Annual Dinner on Saturday, November 7 at the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit. This event will highlight stellar moments in the history of the ACLU-MI, recognize the contributions of our founders, and connect our history to our future. It will include a VIP reception, Silent Auction, dinner and a keynote address by Arianna Huffington, co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post. The theme of this year’s event, “We Are Stardust…We Are Golden,” emphasizes 50 years of outstanding achievements and the organization’s longevity. Tickets are $150 for ACLU Members; $200 for non-members; and $50 for students and can be purchased online at www.aclumich.org.
