The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan and over 800 prominent business, medical, and philanthropic leaders will gather at MotorCity Casino Hotel on Saturday, Dec. 2, for the 13th Annual Kidney Ball. Sponsored by Madison Heights Glass, Lear Corp., Meijer, and General Motors Fleet, the evening features cocktails, live and silent auctions, a fabulous dinner, dancing to Your Generation in Concert, and a candy “bar.” The event’s honorary co-chairs are Duane McLean, Detroit Tigers executive vice president of business operations; and Ed Peper, General Motors Fleet U.S. vice president. Event co-chairs are John Krebs, Madison Heights Glass president/CEO; and Jeff Chandler, VTC Insurance Group executive vice president – Surety. Proceeds benefit the NKFM’s programs and services, which help over 900,000 Michigan residents living with chronic kidney disease and the many more at risk.
