CARE of Southeastern Michigan’s 23rd annual Parenting Conference is 8 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Macomb Intermediate School District located at 44001 Garfield in Clinton Township. This year’s keynote will be given by Dr. Dominica McBride of Become Inc., and she will address building empathy in our children to enrich their lives and strengthen our community. This event is open to the public for parents with children of all ages. Guests will have the option of choosing from 21 different workshops with topics including how parents can motivate their students, ADHD, dealing with bullying, discipline, and many more. Parents will also have access to 35 local resources for families. Tickets are $40 and must be purchased in advance; they will include a continental breakfast and lunch.
