The Julian Boivin Courage for Cures
Foundation presents the eighth Brave Knight
Benefit for pediatric brain tumor research on
Saturday, Nov. 10, at The Townsend Hotel in
Birmingham. The signature event features a
seated dinner, live and silent auctions, raffle
prizes, and dancing — all to help arm kids with
a fighting chance against the deadliest brain tumors. The very special evening is inspired by 5-year-old Julian Boivin of Bloomfield Hills and his courageous seven month battle against DIPG, a terminal brain cancer that typically affects children between the ages of 4 and 11. Because DIPG has no known cause or cure, Courage for Cures funds research working to unlock the mysteries of rare and devastating
brain tumors. Since losing Julian in 2011, Courage for Cures has funded more than $750,000 for research at St. Jude, University of Michigan, and many other institutions around the world. Tickets are $200 each. For more information, please go to CourageforCures.org or call Nettie Boivin at 248-790-2350.
