Cowabunga! It’s a ’60s beach party! Escape the daily grind and board Ovation for a perfect time capsule of summertime fun at the water’s edge. This Summer Cruise Series event benefits Brain Injury Association of Michigan (BIAMI) and takes place 7-10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11. Nibble and picnic on barbecue and other delectable dishes, sample summer sweets, and dance to surf-inspired tunes styled by Caribbean Blues, just like Frankie and Annette. A portion of the ticket sales from this event benefit BIAMI and its efforts. BIAMI provides services and support for people with brain injuries and their families. This group also works to reduce the incidence and impact of brain injury through education, advocacy, support, treatment services, and research.
