The Women’s Division for Project HOPE presents “HOPE on Safari” 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Huron River Hunting and Fishing Club in Farmington. Event Chairs Tina Prevas and Diana Shoushanian will welcome WDPH members, guests, supporters, and friends for a creative evening of cocktails, cuisine, and camaraderie!
The evening will begin with a complimentary wine tasting and cash bar cocktail hour, followed by a sumptuous dinner featuring a choice of three entrees: New York Strip Steak, Chicken Tosca, or Vegetarian Pasta. The festivities will continue with dessert and dancing to live entertainment. “Smart Business” attire is requested, and guests are encouraged to join the fun by wearing animal prints. Patron Tickets are $100; Benefactor Tickets are $150. Founded in 1958, Project HOPE — Health Opportunities for People Everywhere — is dedicated to providing lasting solutions to health crises with the mission of helping people to help themselves. Identifiable to many by the #SS HOPE,# the world’s first peacetime hospital ship, Project HOPE now staffs two naval hospital ships, the USNS Comfort# and USNS Mercy, and conducts land-based medical training, health education, and emergency response in more than 39 countries. Event proceeds will support the worldwide health initiatives of Project HOPE.
