Join the Parducci Society as they honor the 118th birthday of Corrado Parducci and celebrate his work and craftsmanship 6-9 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Meadow Brook Hall. Parducci was an architectural sculptor who helped make the Detroit buildings you love beautiful — his work graces the Masonic Temple, Guardian, Fisher, Penobscot, Meadow Brook Hall, and many more architectural treasures. This year, we are partying where one of Parducci’s crowning achievements is located: the Sir Christopher Wren Dining Room at Meadow Brook Hall. You will want to come just to see his plasterwork. Light fare, drinks, live music, and tours of this Tudor Revival National Historic Landmark will be offered, and the inaugural Craftsman Award will be presented. Discount tickets available for Parducci Society members — become a member today and save! For tickets, visit parduccisociety.org.
