When Norberto and Silvia Garita opened their modest little restaurant on Junction south of Michigan Avenue in 2007, few would have guessed that, in the space of just a couple of years, diners would need to call ahead for reservations on Saturday nights if they wanted to sample the mole poblano or strozzapreti prepared in the Mexican/Italian kitchen.
