With the nearby Imperial and its L.A.-style street tacos a genuine hit, proprietors Jeff and Susanne King, Perry and Sharon LaVoisne, and Amir Daiza figured why not try again? And they came up with another winning concept just a couple of blocks away, featuring a menu of interesting snacks and small sandwiches with every item less than $4. The slick high-ceilinged setting with industrial lighting, an open kitchen, and a bar featuring beer and bourbon fits its laid-back Ferndale setting perfectly.
