During the black-tie fundraiser for local children’s charities, trendsetters will get an early glimpse at the more than 750 vehicles displayed in this year’s North American International Auto Show. “Attendees will be among the first to walk the show floor and see the latest products on the market,” says Bill Golling, chairman of the 2019 NAIAS. Guests will enjoy a performance by Your Generation in Concert. NAIAS, which opens to the public the following day, will move to June come 2020. Jan. 18. $400. Cobo Center, 1 Washington Blvd., Detroit; 888-838-7500; naias.com

“We look forward to celebrating this year’s show. It is a transformation from what it has been for 30 years, and what it will be in June and the years to follow. ”
