Cucumber Lemonade

Cucumber Lemonade
Photographs by Joe Vaughn

Peel two English cucumbers and then grate them into a sieve placed over a bowl. Collect juices for 1 hour, then press on the pulp to extract extra juice. To the cucumber juice add 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice, 2-1/2 cups spring water, and
simple syrup. (For simple syrup: Gently boil 1 cup sugar in 2 cups water until reduced to 1-1/4 cups of syrup). Float a few very thinly sliced cucumber slices in the pitcher.

Cucumbers have awesome benefits! I would love to try this recipe and also a facial with them. Right now I use olive oil and honey for anti aging benefits and take my Vidazorb OPC age defense probiotic every day too! I am definitely going to try to add cucumbers now - thanks!
