Both Kyle Van Strein and Robyn Cleveland say aquavit is a drink best enjoyed chilled. However, cocktails allow for endless creativity. Lime works very well with either product. Van Strein recommends a twist on the classic Gimlet. Consider adding aquavit to your home bar or test it during your next bar outing. Ingredients
2 ounces aquavit
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
Directions
Shake with ice, strain into a martini glass, and garnish with a lime wheel. The latter lets the caraway flavor come out.
