Detroit Red Wings Parade
An estimated 1.4 million fans flocked to downtown Detroit on June 6, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Stanley Cup-winning Red Wings during the victory parade and ceremony. Spectators braved heat and humidity as they lined Woodward Avenue and crowded Hart Plaza in all manner of red-and-white attire in honor of their team's victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
