More Garden Party Cocktail Recipes

Pimm’s Extraordinaire

1 teaspoon pure cane sugar
3/4 ounce lemon juice
4 strawberries
8 slices cucumber (amount divided)
1 ounce gin
1 ounce Pimm’s No. 1
Soda water

In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, combine sugar, lemon juice, strawberries, and half the cucumber slices. Muddle thoroughly; add liquors. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass that has been prepared with alternating layers of crushed ice and remaining cucumber slices. Top off with soda.

 

 

Basil Gin Smash

Basil sprig (leaves, save tip for garnish)
Half a lime
1 teaspoon pure cane sugar
2 ounces gin

In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, combine the bottom leaves of a basil sprig (reserving the tip as garnish), half a lime, and the sugar. Muddle thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Add gin and a good amount of ice and shake. Strain over ice cubes and garnish with basil tip.
