The Grapevine of Novi: Lori and Brian Burke’s woodsy haven for wine and wine-compatible dishes has a charmingly unpretentious attitude, a creative menu of small plates, appetizer pizzas, salads, and cheese selections, and an extensive list of wines by the glass, the flight, or the bottle.

Detroit Fish Market @ Paradise Valley: At last, a restaurant in the space that formerly housed Intermezzo. Restaurateur Frank Taylor took over the long-vacant site in Harmonie Park and devotes it to an extensive menu of fresh fish and seafood, a raw bar, and a glamorous cocktail lounge.
