A complete redo recently produced two restaurants under one roof: Pizza Coco and its adjoining supper club
Molly Abraham
A complete redo recently produced two restaurants under one roof. The casual Pizza Coco is built around an Art Deco mahogany bar and a wood-burning pizza oven. The adjoining supper club, open only in the evening, is done up with tufted high-backed banquettes, mirrors, silk-shaded wall sconces, and black-framed photos of '70s celebrities. The retro feeling does not extend to the menu of fully garnished plates typified by pork tenderloin medallions in a maple glaze with Dijon cream, and filet mignon with sorrel-flavored béarnaise sauce. Some 35 wines by the glass are part of the picture. L & D daily in the pizza room, D in the supper club. 18 S. Main St., Clarkston; 248-625-5660. $22
