DA EDOARDO FOXTOWN GRILLE /// Proximity to Cabrera, Verlander, and their Detroit Tiger cohorts makes this Italian restaurant an especially popular spot. It serves its steaks and pastas on an expanded schedule when there’s a game across the street at Comerica Park. This season, it welcomed the boys of summer with a spruced-up look and some new menu items, including spring-like dishes typified by beet salad with goat cheese and orange segments in citrus vinaigrette, and fettuccine with arugula and lemon zest.

Fox Theatre Building, 2203 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-3500. L & D Tues.-Fri.,

D Sat. Open Sun. and Mon. when there is a game at Comerica.
