On July 16, Slurping Turtle in Ann Arbor held it's annual Charity Ramen Battle. Guests enjoyed five different bowls from Chef Brendon Edwards of Gold Cash Gold, Chef Brad Greenhill of Katoi, Tadashi Nagura of Slurping Turtle, Chef Joseph Van Wagner of Local Kitchen, and Chef Derik Watson of Bistro 82, all competing for $2,000 prize for the charity of their choice.
On July 16, Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters held its Christmas in July themed cruise benefiting the Parade Company. Guests enjoyed a holiday-themed dinner and premium open bar. Each guest was asked to bring a children's gift for donation, and a portion of each ticket cost benefited the organization.
