U of M Congenital Heart Center Benefit at the Michigan League

The University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center hosted a strolling dinner and wine tasting on Nov. 13, at the Michigan League in Ann Arbor. Craft 2016

On June 24, the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan and Detroit's Eastern Market together presented the annual Craft event in Shed 3. Guests enjoyed food and drinks from local restaurants and distilleries, raffles, and more. Proceeds from the partnered event benefited both organizations.

Ovation Detroiter Brunch 2016

On June 19, Hour Detroit presented the Detroiter Brunch as a part of Infinity-Ovation Yacht Charter's summer cruise series. Guests enjoyed a champagne brunch, premium open bar, live music, and more. A portion of the proceeds went to the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy to build plazas, pavilions, and green spaces along a 5-1/2 mile stretch of the riverfront, from the Ambassador Bridge to Gabriel Richard Park.

Detroit Artists Market Garden Party 2016

On June 18, the Detroit Artists Market hosted its annual Garden Party and Art Sale at architect Constantine Pappas' Bloomfield Hills home. Guests perused paintings, prints, photographs, fiber, jewelry, glass, and ceramics and enjoyed live entertainment from Warren Defever and Jay Rowe.

Heroes Gala 2016

On June 18, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s held its sixth annual Heroes Gala and Benefit Concert, starring Broadway’s Megan Hilty from "Smash" and "Wicked." The gala honored men and women who have impacted the vision, values, and success of the DSO and its community, with a special tribute to John and Marlene Boll. Proceeds from the event supported the DSO's commitment to transforming the lives of children and youth across the region through music education.

Best of Detroit 2016

On June 24 at MotorCity Casino Hotel, Hour Detroit brought the Best of Detroit issue to life at the 11th annual Best of Detroit Party. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from over 30 restaurants and live entertainment from the Killer Flamingos, percussionist Jared Sykes, DJ John Arnold, and DJ CAPTN20. The evening was hosted by Amy Andrews from Fox 2.
