HOT SPOT: THE SARDINE ROOM //

Downtown Plymouth’s newest restaurant — a collaboration among Frank and Maureen Yaquinto, their sons Ryan and Frankie, daughter Julia, and a talented staff — makes the Yaquinto restaurant empire a trio. It’s right next door to their long-standing Compari’s on the Park and Fiamma Grille, overlooking Kellogg Park in the pretty town, The Sardine Room is dedicated to fresh seafood — from oysters and shrimp to Alaskan king crab legs at the raw bar to an eclectic array of small and large plates and snacks, including ground Wagyu beef burgers and lobster rolls to roasted bone marrow and Portuguese sardines. To say that the local populace is happy about all of this is an understatement.
