Recipe: The Love Bath

Love the flavors of fall but still yearn for warmer weather? The Love Bath created by Liz Cosby, Rock City Eatery’s beverage director, should satisfy both desires. After three years in Hamtramck, the eatery, known for giving classic comfort food a twist, relocated to Detroit’s Midtown. Because they offer dishes inspired by locations across the globe, the beverage program will follow suit, Cosby says.


Ingredients
3 fresh sage leaves
11/2 ounces Citadel Gin
3/4 ounces lemon juice
1 ounce pear-infused Yellow Chartreuse
Ice

Directions
Muddle sage in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Combine all ingredients, shake, and double strain into a coupe.
