2019 Cake Over Dates

On Feb. 10, Planthropie's Cake Over Dates pre-Valentine's Day soiree invited guests to Tribe Detroit for a moderated panel discussion featuring female entrepreneurs. Attendees sampled the plant-based catering company's vegan cheeses and desserts, and entered into a raffle for locally sourced beauty and wellness products.

2019 Washtenaw Community College Foundation's 34th Annual Mardi Gras

On Feb. 9, the Washtenaw Community College Foundation held its 34th Annual Mardi Gras Winter Gala at the school’s Ann Arbor campus. Attendees enjoyed a dinner prepared by local chefs and supported the foundation’s mission to provide scholarships to students in need.

2019 Go Red for Women Luncheon

Bringing thousands of women together every year, the Go Red For Women Luncheon was hosted at Ford Field on Feb. 15. The American Heart Association annual event raises awareness on heart disease, one of the leading causes of death in females, and promotes healthy lifestyles for women, and their families, to lead.

NAIAS Charity Preview 2019

The 2019 North American International Auto Show Charity Preview took place at the Cobo Center on Jan. 18. Party-goers viewed more than 30 new vehicles on display and raised funds for a number of children’s charities that provide services to those ranging between infancy and 18 years of age.

2019 Saks Fifth Avenue Lunar New Year Celebration

Saks Fifth Avenue celebrated the Lunar New Year with a soiree hosted by Yan International on Jan. 31. Taking place at the department store's location in Somerset Collection, attendees enjoyed cocktails and a fashion presentation on upcoming spring trends. Proceeds from the event benefitted Beaumont Children's Miracle Network.
