Holiday Tea 2017

On Dec. 2, Ronald McDonald House Detroit hosted its annual Holiday Tea. Guests enjoyed tea and other holiday festivities at the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center. The yearly event featured live music from Kimmie Horne, a fashion show, and more. Proceeds benefitted Ronald McDonald House Detroit.

Motor City Mardi Gras 2018

On Feb. 10, Washtenaw Community College held its annual Motor City Mardi Gras event in the Morris Lawrence building of its Ann Arbor campus. Guests of the "Hippest Party in Town" enjoyed food prepared by guest chefs, music from the Motor City, and more. Proceeds from WCC's largest fundraiser benefitted the WCC Foundation, providing scholarships and other means of financial assistance for students.

Detroit Yacht Club Officers' Ball 2018

On Jan. 27, the Detroit Yacht Club held its 142nd annual Officers' Ball in Detroit. The ball, which began in 1878, is one of the longest-running formal events in Michigan. Guests enjoyed cocktails, a formal dinner, the traditional Grand March processional, dancing, and more. The ball is the first major event celebrating the DYC's 150th anniversary.

Empowerment Plan Fundraiser and Grand Opening 2018

On Jan. 25, Empowerment Plan held its 5th annual fundraiser at their new facility in Detroit. Attendees enjoyed specialty food and drinks from local restaurants and bars, live music, photo booths, and more. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefitted the nonprofit organization in its efforts to secure homes and jobs for Detroit's homeless community.

AutoGlow 2018

On Jan. 19 at Ford Field, the 2018 AutoGlow was hosted by Lisa and Bill Ford and Kathy and Jim Hackett. The "An Evening in Casablanca" themed event featured delicious food and live entertainment. All net proceeds benefited the Children’s Center of Wayne County, which offers more than 20 programs to over 7,500 children and families annually dealing with issues including abuse, neglect, mental illness and behavioral problems.

NAIAS Charity Preview 2018

On Jan. 19 at Cobo Center, guests enjoyed a first look at the North American International Auto Show at the Charity Preview. The black-tie event benefitted a wide range of children’s charities, such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan. The fundraiser has raised more than $112 million for southeast Michigan children's charities since the gala was established in 1976.
