Rub-a-Dub 2015

On Aug. 19 at the Franklin Hills Country Club, ORT Michigan hosted their largest annual fundraising event of the year to benefit the local and international educational and vocational programs offered by ORT.

Cruisin' to Drive Out Hunger 2015

On Aug. 14 at Westborn Market in Berkley, Forgotten Harvest hosted the 14th annual Cruisin' to Drive Out Hunger (formerly know as the Champagne Cruise). Guests enjoyed delicious food from local restaurants, cocktails, live music, and a charity preview of the Woodward Dream Cruise. Proceeds benefitted Forgotten Harvest, which fights hunger and food waste in metro Detroit.

Kruise 4 Kids 2015

On August 13, the Northeast Guidance Center hosted their annual Kruise 4 Kids event aboard the Ovation Yacht departed from the Detroit Port Authority. Guests enjoyed dinner and cocktails aboard. Proceeds benefited the NEGC’s children's outpatient programs including Camp Kelly summer program for kids.

Fash Bash 2015

On Aug. 13 at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Founders Junior Council hosted its annual fundraiser Fash Bash in partnership with Neiman Marcus. Proceeds benefited the museum’s operating endowment, which helps ensure the DIA’s long-term sustainability in the community.

Handlebars For The Homeless

On August 16, the Neighborhood Service Organization held the Handlebars for the Homeless guided bicycle tour through Detroit. The 16-mile ride took cyclists through Detroit neighborhoods and the University of Detroit-Mercy campus. Proceeds from the event benefited NSO programs and services.
