The ACS Foundation hosted its Holiday Schmooze at the Townsend Hotel on Dec. 12. Guests of the event enjoyed live music from the Killer Flamingos and a strolling dinner, while raising funds to provide health education, medical care and supplies to the people of Cordoba.
On Dec. 8, the Historic Boston-Edison Association held its Red Carpet Affair at the Motown Mansion. Guests were treated to a strolling dinner, an open bar, live music, and a tour of four historic homes in Detroit.
The Franklin Wright Settles hosted its Spirt of Giving Award gala at the DTE Energy One Center on Dec. 8. Donations from the event benefited the organization's mission to provide educational programs to children in need.
St. John's Fontbonne Auxiliary hosted its 65th annual White Christmas Ball on Nov. 30 at the Detroit Athletic Club. The ball raised funds to construct a patient family day lounge for St. John’s new stroke unit, which is scheduled to open this year.
On Nov. 28, the Women’s Division for Project Hope hosted its Holiday Luncheon and Boutique at the Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills. Guest enjoyed lunch and a curated selection of brands offering products perfect for the holiday season. Project Hope serves to develop lasting solutions to health crises and self-medical help through educational courses.
