Salute America 2017

On June 23, Lighthouse of Oakland County hosted its Salute America event at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills. This year's honorees were Marie Osborn, Sheriff Michael Bouchard, and Sherry Margolis. Guests enjoyed dinner, live entertaimment, dancing, and a silent and live auction. Lighthouse is the largest nonprofit provider of emergency food and housing to low-income families in Oakland County.

NAIAS Charity Preview 2019

The 2019 North American International Auto Show Charity Preview took place at the Cobo Center on Jan. 18. Party-goers viewed more than 30 new vehicles on display and raised funds for a number of children’s charities that provide services to those ranging between infancy and 18 years of age.

2019 Saks Fifth Avenue Lunar New Year Celebration

Saks Fifth Avenue celebrated the Lunar New Year with a soiree hosted by Yan International on Jan. 31. Taking place at the department store's location in Somerset Collection, attendees enjoyed cocktails and a fashion presentation on upcoming spring trends. Proceeds from the event benefitted Beaumont Children's Miracle Network.

2019 Grand Masquerade

Enough SAID and Michigan Women Forward hosted The Grand Masquerade at the Eastern in Detroit on Feb. 1. The masquerade-themed event raised funds for Enough SAID, an organizations that is dedicated to testing backlogged rape kits in Detroit.

2019 Toast of Hockeytown

The Detroit Red Wings Foundation held the 19th Annual "Toast of Hockeytown" at Little Caesars Arena on Feb. 5. Party-goers had the opportunity to meet the entire Red Wings team, coaches, and select alumni. Funds raised at the event benefitted the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, a non-profit organization that contributes to causes that support the growth of the community.

2019 Detroit Pistons' Annual DIA Dinner

On Feb. 9, the Detroit Institute of Arts hosted its Black History Month celebration at the museum, with the Detroit Pistons players and staff being the guests of honor. Following a cocktail hour that encouraged guests to walk through fashion designer Isabel Toledo's 'Labor of Love' exhibit, attendees heard a speech from Pistons Vice Chairman Arn Tellem, that recognized outstanding African-American leaders. They later enjoyed a seated dinner and a shopping event sponsored by Neiman Marcus.
