Savor Detroit, Spring 2016: April 27

From April 25-29, Hour Detroit held its biannual event Savor Detroit. For the first time, local top chefs were paired with guest culinary stars from around the country for the ultimate collaboration at Savor Detroit. Guests enjoyed light appetizers and cocktails as well as a multi-course seated dinner. A portion of the proceeds benefited Gleaners Community Food Bank, which serves more than 500 partner agencies around southeast Michigan by providing millions of pounds of food to feed hungry neighbors. Wednesday’s culinary collaboration featured Chef Andy Hollyday from Selden Standard in Detroit, and Chef George Pagonis from Kapnos and Kapnos Taverna in Washington D.C.
