When doctors and nurses send their own family members to Dr. Eugene Agnone, you know he’s doing something right. A board-certified medical oncologist who has practiced in the area for more than 20 years, Dr. Agnone not only works with patients diagnosed with cancer; he helps families and loved ones understand the findings and treatment. Dr. Agnone’s focus is on total patient-centered care, which starts at his warm and friendly office. 

Patient care also includes access to both local and national clinical trials.  On the faculty of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, and affiliated with Beaumont, St. John, and Henry Ford Health Systems. Dr. Agnone is also involved in community education, medical teaching, hospice care, and outreach programs. Dr. Agnone says he’s “happiest when the patients and loved ones are doing well and enjoying life.”

When the diagnosis is cancer, doctors consistently refer to Dr. Agnone. “They have faith that I do a good job and provide care in a very compassionate and caring way,” he explains.
