Unlikely as it may seem, a restaurant in a vintage car-repair shop has caught the attention of restaurant-goers from all sides of town. Crowds, which have been the norm, are attracted by the offbeat industrial setting and well-prepared fare from a menu of comfort-food classics. Burgers on pretzel buns, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, pizzas, and roast chicken are all brought to us by the folks from the Clarkston Union and Union Woodshop restaurants. To say it’s a hit is an understatement.
