There isn’t an oyster in sight at Ale Mary’s, now completely separate from its sibling, Tom’s Oyster Bar in Royal Oak, where the proprietors decided to carve the space in half to make room for a completely beer-centric menu at 316 S. Diamonds for Diamond Jim’s ‘Saloon’
Next month marks the third anniversary of Diamond Jim Brady’s Bistro’s move into its handsome quarters in Novi Town Center. But in December comes the real milestone, when the “saloon” established by the late Jim Brady in Detroit hits its diamond anniversary of 60 years. It’s now in the hands of the original Jim’s daughter-in-law, Mary Brady, and her business partner and chef Sharon Juergens.
